Job Description

A specialist ERP data migration consultancy with an international project portfolio is looking for a Senior D365 F&O Functional Consultant to join their growing UK team.

The role

This isn’t a standard implementation role – the focus is data migration. You’ll be the functional expert bridging business and technical teams, helping clients and internal analysts understand how D365 F&O data objects relate to real business processes. That means getting into the detail on things like vendors, fixed assets, purchase orders, production orders, and ledger entries, and translating that into something developers and analysts can actually work with.

You’ll run workshops with client SMEs, support legacy data mapping and validation, and provide the functional context that keeps complex migration projects on track. There’s also an element of knowledge sharing with junior team members as the UK practice grows.

What you’ll need

Deep functional knowledge of D365 F&O is essential – particularly Finance and Manufacturing modules. You’ll have been involved in ERP data migration projects before and know how to communicate complex system behaviour clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Solid documentation and stakeholder skills are assumed.

Exposure to heavy equipment, capital equipment, or related sectors is a bonus, as is comfort reading and writing basic SQL for data validation purposes.

Working arrangement

Hybrid – 2 to 3 days per week in the Leeds office.

Why it’s worth a look

High-impact projects, an international client base, and a team that values straight-talking and delivery over politics. Good opportunity if you want to specialise in migration rather than vanilla implementations.
