DTG GLOBAL
Business Central Developer
Job Description
A well-established professional services firm with a strong BC practice is looking for a talented Business Central Developer to join a busy, technically capable team.
The role
Hands-on BC development is the core of this – customisations, extensions, multi-tenant solutions – with the occasional opportunity to mentor junior developers as the team grows. There’s a natural path to a leadership position for the right person, but this is first and foremost a development role.
You’ll work closely with functional consultants and clients to take requirements through to delivery, so you’ll need to be comfortable in technical conversations with non-technical people.
What you’ll need
Strong AL development experience in Business Central is a given. Beyond that, solid SQL Server and T-SQL knowledge, experience with SSRS, and familiarity with git-based source control – Azure DevOps or GitHub. You’ll have delivered customisations and multi-tenant solutions and know what good looks like.
Some experience mentoring or leading junior developers would be useful, though it’s not a dealbreaker.
Working arrangement
Hybrid – one to two days per month in the office.
Why it’s worth a look
A genuinely technical team, interesting work, and a clear route into leadership if that’s where you want to go. Salary £75,000 – £85,000 depending on experience, plus benefits and management training.
