Job Description

Our client is seeking a curious, tech-savvy problem solver to join their legal technology team. You’ll work closely with a highly regarded real estate practice, helping to design and deliver smarter ways of providing legal services through automation, collaboration tools, and emerging legal tech.

No prior experience in a Legal Technologist role is needed – this role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude and an interest in how technology can transform professional services.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in modernising legal processes and supporting teams to get the most from technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and enhancing automated solutions to improve efficiency
  • Designing and maintaining smart document templates and collaboration tools
  • Partnering with lawyers to understand client and process challenges
  • Acting as a bridge between legal teams, IT, Knowledge, and Business Development
  • Managing system access, troubleshooting issues, and supporting users
  • Keeping up to date with developments in legal tech, automation, and AI
  • Delivering informal training to help colleagues adopt new tools confidently

About You

You’ll be naturally curious, organised, and confident working with technology in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll bring:

  • A genuine interest in legal technology and process improvement
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Confidence presenting ideas and supporting others through change

Desirable (but not essential):

  • A degree or equivalent experience in Law, Computer Science, or a tech-related field
  • Exposure to platforms such as HighQ, Contract Express, Clarilis, or HotDocs
  • Strong general IT skills and confidence navigating multiple systems
