Technology Project Manager
Job Description
A well-established London market insurer is looking for an experienced Technology Project Manager to join its change function on a contract basis, delivering technology-led programmes across a fast-paced, complex environment.
The opportunity
You’ll take ownership of technology delivery projects from initiation through to completion, working closely with business and IT stakeholders across the organisation. This is a hands-on PM role in a firm that runs meaningful, business-critical change – not just BAU housekeeping.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll manage end-to-end delivery of technology projects, maintaining plans, managing risks and dependencies, and keeping senior stakeholders informed throughout. You’ll work across business and technical teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time and to specification, and contribute to the ongoing development of project governance and delivery standards within the change function.
What we’re looking for
You’ll need a proven track record delivering technology projects within the Lloyd’s or London market – policy administration, claims systems, data or digital transformation programmes are all relevant backgrounds. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift. Experience working within Lloyd’s market frameworks and familiarity with the London market operating model would be a strong advantage.
Prince2, PMP or equivalent certification is desirable but not essential – delivery track record matters more.
