AI Engineer

Job Description

AI Engineer needed by a London professional services firm to design and build AI tools that solve real problems for the business.

You’ll work hands-on across the full build, from shaping an idea with colleagues to running it in production, with the freedom to choose the right approach and the responsibility for making it work well. The firm is investing in AI and wants an engineer who can move quickly without cutting corners on quality or security.

What you’ll work on

• Developing LLM-based applications and the services behind them
• Building RAG solutions and AI agents
• Testing and measuring AI output so the firm can trust what it uses
• Creating Copilot Studio agents and extending the firm’s use of Microsoft’s AI tools
• Connecting AI solutions to the firm’s existing systems and data
• Working with colleagues across the business to turn their needs into working tools

What you’ll bring

• Solid software engineering experience, with Python or TypeScript
• Practical experience shipping LLM applications, ideally on Azure OpenAI
• Experience building on Azure or a similar cloud platform
• A security-first mindset when working with sensitive data
• The ability to talk through technical decisions in plain English
• Experience in a law firm or other professional services environment would be a bonus
