They’re looking for someone with 3–6 years’ experience who can sit confidently at the intersection of law and technology, building solutions that make a tangible difference to how the firm operates and how it serves its clients.

The Role

You’ll work hand-in-hand with lawyers and practice groups to design, build and refine technology-driven legal solutions, translating complex legal requirements into elegant, scalable tools.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and coding document automation solutions and legal workflows using HighQ and document automation platforms
• Building applications and tools that improve efficiency and reduce risk across the firm
• Collaborating closely with lawyers on complex matters to develop practical, technically robust solutions
• Contributing to the firm’s broader innovation agenda and helping to identify new opportunities for technology to add value
• Supporting adoption of new tools and acting as a technical expert across the business

About You

You’ll be an experienced Legal Engineer with a genuine aptitude for building, not just configuring, and the legal understanding to make your solutions truly fit for purpose.

You’ll bring:

• 3–6 years’ experience in a Legal Engineer or senior Legal Technologist role
• Strong coding ability and hands-on experience with document automation and HighQ
• The confidence to work directly with Partners and senior lawyers on high-profile, complex matters
• A sharp analytical mind and the ability to translate legal problems into technical solutions
• A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine passion for legal technology
