Proclaim Developer

Job Description

A well-established, high-volume law firm is looking for an experienced Proclaim Developer to join an in-house team of eight, reporting into the Development Manager. This is a permanent role offering hybrid or remote working.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for both the development and ongoing administration of the firm’s Proclaim case management system. Day-to-day this covers case type and workflow development, screen design, template and user configuration, task server administration, report design and scheduling, auto routines, macros, and import/export configuration. You’ll also manage third-party supplier relationships to ensure improvements are delivered cleanly, and collaborate with IT and operations as needed.

What You’ll Need

A minimum of five years in a hands-on Proclaim development role. Level 4 certified or demonstrable equivalent experience across workflow logic, SQL, report scheduling, auto routines, task server configuration, and Proclaim v3.5. Familiarity with Proclaim Accounts, MI Warehouse, A2A integration, and Secure Docs is advantageous, as is exposure to PI, Clinical Negligence, or Costs case types. Web interfacing knowledge (ASP, PHP, HTML) and a working understanding of Windows networks and Active Directory would also be welcome.

You’ll need to be a clear communicator, comfortable reporting to senior stakeholders in plain language and confident managing external suppliers.

Package

£40,000 – £50,000 DOE. Standard office hours Monday to Friday with occasional out-of-hours cover required.
