Job Description
Our client, a highly respected Top 50 UK law firm, is seeking a talented Legal Technologist to join their growing innovation and legal operations function. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in shaping how a major law firm delivers legal services, applying smart technology, automation, and data-driven solutions to drive efficiency and enhance client experience.
About the Role
Working closely with lawyers, innovation specialists, and wider business services teams, the Legal Technologist will support the delivery of technology-enabled solutions across the firm. You will be involved in:
- Designing and building workflow automation and document automation solutions
- Supporting the rollout and optimisation of legal tech platforms
- Analysing legal processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Implementing new technologies that enhance client service delivery
- Collaborating with knowledge, IT, and legal project management functions
- Providing training, guidance, and user support to fee-earners and staff
This is a highly varied role that will suit someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience in a Legal Technologist, Legal Innovation, Legal Ops, or similar role within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of legal processes and workflows
- Hands-on experience with document automation or legal tech platforms
- A proactive, analytical mindset with the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions
- A genuine interest in emerging legal technologies, including AI and data-driven tools
Candidates from a paralegal or legal background with demonstrable tech experience are also encouraged to apply.
