Job Description
Our client, a progressive and well-established regional law firm, is looking for a Case Management Software Developerto join their growing technology team. If you enjoy solving problems, building smarter workflows, and improving the way people use legal tech, this is a role where your work will make an immediate difference.
About the Role
You’ll take a leading role in developing and enhancing the firm’s case management platform, ensuring it remains efficient, intuitive, and aligned with the needs of busy legal teams.
You will:
- Build, refine and automate workflows to streamline legal processes
- Develop new features within SOS Legal or a similar case management system
- Create and maintain high-quality document templates and precedents
- Diagnose and resolve system issues with clarity and confidence
- Manage system configuration, users, permissions and structures
- Test enhancements and ensure smooth, well-communicated releases
- Work closely with legal, operations and IT teams to improve how the business uses technology
This is a hands-on role with real ownership and visibility across the firm.
About You
We’d like to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience with SOS Legal or other workflow-based case management platforms (e.g., Proclaim, Visualfiles, Peppermint, Mattersphere, LEAP, Litify)
- A logical, analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Confidence working with scripting, low-code or automation tools
- The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in legal technology
