DTG Global are partnered with a high-growth tech business looking to add an Artificial Intelligence Engineer to their expanding team. You’ll work across LLM, generative AI, and applied ML projects, building and deploying AI models that solve real-world problems at scale.

The Opportunity:

• Develop and deploy AI models and pipelines in production, focusing on generative AI and LLM fine-tuning.
• Build robust, scalable APIs to serve models with performance and reliability in mind.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, translating research into practical, usable solutions.
• Evaluate new models and architectures, contributing to the technical direction of AI initiatives.
• Continuously improve model performance while ensuring maintainability and transparency.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong Python development skills with experience in AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Experience deploying AI models into production environments, including containerisation and CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of LLM implementation, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
• A good understanding of the full AI lifecycle, from data gathering to monitoring in production.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Nice to have:

• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS).
• Exposure to GPU-accelerated workflows and model optimisation.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
