Job Description

Azure AI Engineer needed to build production AI agents and automated workflows for this large, well established enterprise sized business.

This is a hands-on engineering role in an internal team. You’ll take business use cases from idea to production, designing AI agents and multi-step workflows that work across the firm’s enterprise platforms. You’ll also build reusable building blocks – connectors, tools and capabilities – that the wider team can use again on future projects.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and building AI agents and multi-step automated workflows on Azure
• Orchestrating solutions across Azure AI services and Copilot Studio
• Building reusable connectors, tools and components for future projects
• Integrating with enterprise systems through REST and GraphQL APIs
• Leading technical design and code reviews
• Setting the standard for prompt evaluation and AI governance

What you’ll bring

• Strong Python – APIs, testing, modular design and async
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Functions and containers
• Copilot Studio experience
• Experience with workflow orchestration and event-driven systems
• CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with MCP is a strong plus
• Experience in a regulated environment is preferred
