IT Network & Security Manager

Job Description

We’re working with a large UK organisation that is strengthening its network and cyber security capability as part of a wider IT transformation programme.

They’re looking for an experienced Network & Security Manager to take ownership of network resilience, cyber risk, and incident response across a complex, multi-site environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real responsibility for security posture, supplier management, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning the organisation’s network and cyber security landscape, including risk management and incident response
• Leading and improving network architecture, security controls, and monitoring
• Working closely with internal IT teams, senior stakeholders, and third-party suppliers
• Driving security improvements in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
• Supporting delivery of a broader IT strategy focused on modernisation, flexibility, and resilience

What they’re looking for

• Strong experience across enterprise networks and cyber security
• Comfortable taking ownership of security risk and operational incidents
• Experience working with third-party suppliers and managed services
• Able to balance hands-on technical understanding with leadership and stakeholder engagement
