Job Description

Senior Data Analyst needed by this fast-growing FinTech to help them unlock insight from millions of real-time transactions.

This is an opportunity to join a product-led, data-driven environment where your work will directly shape product, customer experience, and commercial strategy.

The Opportunity

You’ll be working closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams — using SQL, Python, and modern BI tools to turn raw data into actionable insight. This is a hands-on analytics role with plenty of ownership, variety, and impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Analysing customer and transaction data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Building dashboards and data models to track business and product performance
  • Owning analytics projects end-to-end — from exploration to delivery
  • Partnering with teams across the business to enable smarter, data-led decisions
  • Helping scale the company’s data capability as they grow

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience in data analysis, BI, or analytics roles
  • Strong SQL skills — ideally with data warehouse experience (BigQuery, Redshift etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with modern data transformation tools (dbt, Dataform, Spark SQL)
  • Python and Pandas skills, plus experience with version control & code reviews
  • Data visualisation experience with tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or HEX
  • Strong analytical thinking — able to apply statistical techniques to real-world problems
  • Excellent communication skills — able to turn complex data into simple stories

Nice to Have

  • Experience in FinTech, Open Banking, or Credit Risk
  • Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery, HEX, dbt or MixPanel
  • A degree in a quantitative field (Maths, Stats, Physics, Computer Science etc.)

What’s In It For You

  • Hybrid working — 2-3 days a week in their London office
  • Work on high-impact, real-world data problems in FinTech
  • Modern data stack and a collaborative, data-first culture
  • Real ownership — visible, business-critical work
