Job Description

We’re hiring on behalf of a fast-growing, globally recognised professional services firm – a major player in audit, tax and consulting. They’ve built their own proprietary audit tech platform completely in-house and are now looking for a Product Owner to take the reins and help lead the next phase of innovation.

This is a rare opportunity for someone with an audit background and a passion for technology to step into a pivotal product leadership role. You’ll be responsible for shaping the roadmap of a system used daily by hundreds of auditors – and help transform the way the firm delivers audit services through automation, analytics and intelligent tooling.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for the firm’s proprietary audit platform
  • Collaborate with audit stakeholders to gather and prioritise system requirements
  • Define, manage and refine the product backlog with the support of a senior developer
  • Work closely with developers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of new features
  • Ensure the platform continues to meet regulatory standards while introducing smart innovations

What we’re looking for:

  • A solid background in audit or assurance – you understand the rhythm and rigour of audit delivery
  • A strong interest in technology and how it can reshape professional services
  • Excellent communication skills – you can work seamlessly with audit teams and developers alike
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage priorities across a fast-paced environment
  • Product ownership experience is a bonus – but we’ll also consider auditors with a passion for tech and a desire to pivot into a product role

This role would suit someone who wants to stay close to audit, but build something bigger – someone who sees how technology can solve real pain points and isn’t afraid to lead change from the front.
